[4] The new camshaft retainer installs in the same manner as the original Pontiac piece. New hardware and detailed installation instructions are included. Simply following the manufacturer’s recommended procedure produces best results. SPM uses a Rollmaster timing set. The billet-steel cam gear is machined to accept the second Torrington bearing.
