Sherman Parts announces new production of OE-correct front fenders for the ’77-’81 Pontiac Trans Am. Just like the factory originals, they’re die-formed from electro-galvanized steel and phosphate-treated for immediate paintability. “The new fenders match all the details of the originals, which have been discontinued for some time now,” the company says. The price is $297 each.

Quick-Change Oil Change
Hamburger’s Performance Products’ Multi-Position Filter Relocation Base allows you to put your engine’s oil filter where you decide. The unique two-piece design is CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum, and features 180 degrees of rotational movement and twin -12AN fittings. “The base is red-anodized for wear resistance, and engraved with flow-direction labels for easy port identification,” the company says. Choose from the three most popular filter sizes on the market—HP4, PH8A, and HP6. Prices start at $165.

So Long, Slippery Stuff
Promech Professional Mechanics Formula Penetrating Oil is faster acting and more effective at freeing rusted, corroded, or seized bolts, nuts, and hardware than anything currently available, retail or industrial, according to the manufacturer. Its secret formula penetrates where slippery lubricants can’t reach, even creeping and climbing into seized fasteners when sprayed from an inverted position. That’s not all—the product promises to declare you the victor against galvanic corrosion of dissimilar metals, such as a seized steel bolt in an aluminum block, or rusted water-neck bolts in an aluminum intake. The price is $8.95.
Ames Performance Engineering now offers correct-reproduction ’64-’65 GTO coupe door-reveal moldings. Like the originals, they’re made from anodized aluminum. “Rather than taking on the costly, time-consuming task of repairing and refinishing originals, these parts are a direct replacement,” says the company. The price is $249 for a set of four.
